Credit card companies make money on interest . they send out thousands of offers each month . People can be sucked in and overwhelmed by their own foolishness and wind up spending more than they earn each month----living beyond their means .

High prices at the gas station and the grocery store are part of what is driving more people to use their credit cards is my thought .

You’re getting there. The question is; why are prices so much higher?

Some blame it on corporate greed - others blame it on rising labor prices .Some blame subsidized health care food an housing for the poor . Maybe it is too many people and not enough assets. As always the president at the time catches blame when times are tough .

In this case Biden should. The green new deal will k**l this country with more onerous regulations and dumping of money through subsidies. More outcomes based on equity, not e******y. One thing not talked about enough; the debt is approaching where government income goes to pay the the interest on the debt. This raises the cost of everything indirectly. Biden is the worst economic president in my lifetime.

In my case it stems back to C***d. My hours were greatly reduced during C***d and I used my credit cards to fill the gap. Then the attorney I worked for folded in mid 2021 and finding another comparable job at my age was impossible. Still struggling to pay down debt

The planet runs on f****l f**ls so that is not likely to be phased out . All other sources of energy such as hydrogen and electricity should be developed as additions to the energy sources we have --not replacements -- Just my thoughts

For the first time, in years, we have debt on one of our cards. As with many others, it is a medical debt. We are fortunate that we will be able to pay it off in a short time (3 payments); however, others are not so fortunate.
