I'd rather see us go the other way. Only a half v**e between 18 and 21 as they learn responsibility and their brain develops. Then a full v**e at 21.

No, only adults should v**e. Sixteen year olds are too easily indoctrinated in school.

I was going to say that. The age was originally lowered to 18 because of the draft. It should have only applied to people who actually served in the military. I would include first responders also.

They went the wrong way, the age for the draft should have been raised to 21.

Nonsense. In many cases 18 isn't even mature enough. Although the impetus for lowering the v****g age the (Vietnam War) cannot be denied...if you are old enough to die for your country--you should be old enough to v**e, 16 is ridiculous

Bad Idea. They could not tell you where in the Constitution where it says a man/woman has the right to v**e. They care only about having fun and h*****g out with their friends. Boys care only about making it with little SusieQ. The girls care only about how cute little Johnny is and maybe we can get it on. Are these the little Brats the ones you want to v**e. The v****g age should be raised back to 21 and all men and women should be required to serve in the military for 4 years, minimum. Or bring back the draft and no one is exempt!
