I have often read pieces clearly delineating a difference between Z*****m and Judaism. I always assumed it was much the same as the difference between Islam and Muslims. IE one is an ideology and one is a faith. Perhaps I've been looking at it wrong?

Your point is well taken about muslim leaders issuing similar statements as that made by the Israeli leaders. Leaders on both sides of the issue are guilty of fueling the flames of hatred.

We disagree on the point of my agenda. I am simply trying to provide a bit of balance on the Israeli/Palestinian issue. The main stream media is extremely liberal, and takes the Pro-Z*****t position that you and others espouse.

Look no further than the corporate ownership of the Electronic News & Entertainment Media, the nation’s three most prestigious and influential newspapers, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and the Washington Post, as well as the Other Mass Media. There are only three of any note published in the United States: Time, Newsweek, and U.S. News and World Report. Look at who controls them, and the propagandizing that they inflict on the American public. They only tell one side of the story, never the other.

None of these sources tell the story of the 1948 Palestine War, which led to the creation of Israel, and the more than 700,000 Palestinian Arabs –about half of prewar Palestine’s Arab population— fled from their homes or were expelled by Z*****t m*****as during this war.

They never tell the story of the exodus, known as Nakba, "which was the central component of the fracturing, dispossession, and displacement of Palestinian society. Around 400 to 600 Palestinian villages were destroyed. In a biological warfare programme, village wells were poisoned, and properties were l**ted to prevent Palestinian refugees from returning. About 80 percent of the Arab inhabitants of what became Israel left or were expelled from their homes.

Later on, the Israeli government passed a series of land and property laws that prevented Arabs who had fled, from returning to their ancestral homes or claiming their properties. They and many of their descendants remain refugees still and are not allowed back into Palestine while since its founding, any Jewish person can come and settle in Israel.

Israel has been a criminal state bent on destroying the very existence of Palestinian people. America and the western countries call Israel “a democracy”! It is a laughable lie. Israel is not a democracy. It is an apartheid nation. It treats its own Palestinian citizens as third-class citizens. Most of their rights as citizens are denied to them."

I may be one of the few here on OPP (there is at least one other person I will not name who shares that perspective) that is willing to tell their side of the story.

I will repeat a phrase I have used extensively before. If you constantly beat and mistreat a dog, do not be surprised when the dog turns around and bites you.
