This may be the last Pope, thought by many to be referenced in Revelation. He will usher in the new secular religion of the antichrist. I for one do not care for this Pope.

The Catholic Church has added and subtracted so much from the original Christian Religion, a 1st Century Christian witnessing a modern Catholic Church service would probably think he was watching some sort of pagan ritual. He would be essentially correct. Christmas, Easter, the Sunday Sabbath, the doctrine of the trinity, all these are essentially pagan usages adopted and adapted for expediency by the papacy. Calling an obvious myth a myth is pretty small potatoes compared to the other stuff.

I have not cared for this Pope although he is the supposed leader of my religion. I will continue to believe the old beliefs and will continue to ignore him.
Being Catholic, I would say Pope Francis is not my favorite; but we must remember the Holy Spirit put him where he is. There must be a reason. I find him too liberal and confusing. Some of his comments are just fodder for this Obama news media. I think the biggest problem is a language barrier. Statistics show that over 60% of Catholics are English speaking; second is French speaking, with Latino dialects third. Now why, if over 60% of the people speak English, does he not? He really can't relate to us. Being born in Italy, he speaks the Italian language; he speaks Latin because he was required to learn it in Seminary; he speaks German (why?) and, of course he speaks a form of Spanish known in Argentina (or wherever he came from). When I watch the audiences from the Vatican, seeing him have an interpreter read in English what he, supposedly, said, I feel like a second class citizen. He's supposedly visiting the United States next year; again, we will need "interpretations" of everything he says. I feel c***ted. But the Holy Spirit has put him in the office at this time for some reason. We must have faith. And I certainly do not believe that he will be the last Pope. That would be as bad as having Obama be the last president. God may be angry with us, as he has been on many occasions with the Hebrews, but he loves us too much to do that to us. I respect the Office of the President and I respect the Papal Office. I do not respect the evil creature sitting as our president; and, while he is not my favorite - he still has a lot to show me - at least I do respect the Pope. I pray for him and hope I can become more at ease with him. My favorite Popes (and I've lived through all of them starting with Pius XI) are Benedict XVI and Pius XII.
God bless us all, and make his face to shine once more on this great land of ours - the United States of America.
A spirit put him there all right, it was an unholy spirit. Wake up!

Why do so many say "wake up"? Can't anyone be original?

I agree! I'm not Catholic, but I have heard a bit about him and I don't believe there is much that is Holy about him.
People put him in that position, but it might take God to get him out!.
First things first. Let's get Obama out of his office, before we focus on the pope.
What did you say? I just woke up.

News Flash!
When the council of Chalcedon, in 451 a.d., finally stopped k*****g each other long enough to decide what constituted "Orthodox doctrine" and called it "Trinity;" and in 452 a.d. turned the discipline of the church over to the Emperor Marcion, to bring in the death penalty for Heresy, God gave a sign to the world which was totally ignored; it was 1000 year judgment we called "The dark ages" - which lasted until 1452 when the first bibles came off the printing press and was given to the common man, taken out of the hands of clergy for the first time since the days of Paul the Apostle.
The clergy never read the scriptures. They did the same thing denominationalism is doing today, they read until they found a sound byte that sounds like what they were told to believe by their version of clergy.
Proof that the Clerical hierarchy was wrong is found in John's gospel which directly opposes the action of the Inquisition and those who would punish doubters and questioners -
"They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever k**leth you will think that he doeth God service. 3 And these things will they do unto you because they have not known the Father, nor me."[John 16:2-3]I was raised a Catholic and studied my way out of it, so I know this to be true.
