As I watch the useless h**eful protests take place in New York City and on campuses around the country and the world, I have to ask: Isn’t there a better way to solve the problem of Anti-Semitism which involves two groups with opposing religious, political and cultural beliefs.

The answer could never be more clear Listen to the “Word of God!” Those who follow scripture come to understand the two greatest commandments preached by our Savior Jesus Christ was: “To Love God with your whole heart, mind and soul!” That implies we all turn away from sin and obey the laws of God, namely the Ten Commandments. The second of the greatest commandments is: “Love thy neighbor as thyself!” That means we must make choices in life that involve looking out for the care not the harm of others. But a big problem is that a large majority of people with differing religious, political and cultural views cannot adopt God’s message in their lives because they have rejected both the Man God, Jesus Our Savior, and God the Father, our creator and never cracked the Bible.

Both sides in this battle in Gaza have rejected Jesus Christ, the Jews when he came to rescue their souls 2000 years ago and the Muslims who rejected him for being a Jew. Both believe Jesus to have died on the cross and both believe he was a great prophet, but not the Son of God, our Savior. Although they “hear” His words, they are not “listening” hence, they fail to apply His Word to their lives”. It is ver simply stated: “They must Love God and their neighbor.” Very simple to understand but not simply practiced. Unless they recognize Jesus Christ as God, listen to His words, they will not be able to love and trust one another but rather will continue to attack one another and spew hatred.

The protestors are only adding meaningless negative useless energy to the resolution of the problems in the Middle East. The protestors should remove themselves from the streets, find a quiet room and pray to Jesus Christ calling for an end to this Israeli Hamas conflict so the Israeli and Palestinian can resume a normal life. They should adopt his commandments and put them into practice so they love and trust one another and pursue a life of peace and prosperity.

True peace can never be achieved until all men of all nations love God receive the “Word of God,” and put His word into practice. Jesus Christ’s words are God’s word as the two are consubstantial.
