America once the world’s greatest bastion of anti-c*******m now celebrates it

President Ronald Reagan who once famously told Soviet Union Leader Mikhail Gorbachev, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall,” must be rolling in his grave.

America, through a branch of the Michigan State Department of Natural Resources, now boldly and openly celebrates the ideal of c*******m.

Two days before the countdown to midnight celebrating 2015, the Michigan Historical Commission, a branch of the state’s Department of Natural Resources, announced it would be placing an official historical marker, which in essence honors unrepentant d******c t*******t Bill Ayers and Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) for giving an unwitting world the “Port Huron Statement”.

The historical marker will be placed at a United Auto Workers camp outside of Port Huron in St. Clair County where SDS radicals wrote their pro-c*******m manifesto that came to be known as the “Port Huron Statement” in June 1962.

“The document was written by Thomas Hayden – a 1960s counterculture radical and former husband of Jane Fonda – as well as other SDS members like Ayers, who later founded the Weather Underground before turning to academia to become an education professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago.(EAGNews.org, Dec. 31, 2014)

“The Weather Underground was a self-described c*******t revolutionary group that bombed public buildings including police stations, the U.S. Capitol and the Pentagon in protest of the Vietnam War.

“In a broad sense, the Port Huron Statement allegedly “articulated the fundamental problems of American society and laid out a radical vision for a better future” through a “participatory democracy,” according to In These Times, which reflected on the manifesto on its 50th anniversary in 2012.

“More specifically, the Statement sought to t***sform the Democratic Party into the “New Left” by focusing on controlling the educational process, embracing c*******m, fighting r****m, strengthening organized labor unions, and other tactics.

“The manifesto reads, in part:

“An imperative task for these publicly disinherited groups, then, is to demand a Democratic Party responsible to their interests. They must support Southern v***r r**********n and Negro political candidates and demand that Democratic Party liberals do the same (in the last Congress, Dixiecrats split with Northern Democrats on 119 of 300 roll-calls, mostly on civil rights, area redevelopment and foreign aid bills; and breach was much larger than in the previous several sessions). Labor should begin a major drive in the South. In the North, reform clubs (either independent or Democratic) should be formed to run against big city regimes on such issues as peace, civil rights, and urban needs.

Demonstrations should be held at every Congressional or convention seating of Dixiecrats. A massive research and publicity campaign should be initiated, showing to every housewife, doctor, professor, and worker the damage done to their interests every day a r****t occupies a place in the Democratic Party. Where possible, the peace movement should challenge the ‘peace credentials’ of the otherwise-liberals by threatening or actually running candidates against them.”

There is also no longer any doubt that there are parallels between SDS members who participated in drawing up the Port Huron Statement and the 2012 Occupy Wall Street (OWS) Movement that takes its orders from Chairman Bob Avakian’s Revolutionary C*******t Party USA, and is the backbone of the ongoing protests in Ferguson, Mo, New York City and elsewhere. (Read No longer merely on the way, the Revolution is here, and Why aren’t progressives putting the run to C****es organizing street protests?)

In Ayers own words as written In These Times:

“Once again more labor than delivery, here is a movement-in-the-making, shifting the frame and connecting the issues, expanding the public square, and defining a moment. Like every movement before it, Occupy was impossible before it happened, and inevitable the day after. Power responded in familiar fashion. First dismissing, then mocking, scolding and co-opting, and finally beating the # out of participants – repeating as necessary,” Ayers wrote.

“Revolution is still possible, but barbarism is possible as well. In this time of peril and possibility, rising expectations and new beginnings, when hope and history once again rhyme, it’s absolutely urgent that we embrace the spirit embodied in the final words of The Port Huron Statement: ‘If we appear to seek the unattainable … we do so to avoid the unimaginable.’ Occupy the future!”

America, once looked up to as world bastion against freedom-k*****g c*******m, now openly celebrates it.

Its president now sides with one of the most repressive c*******t regimes that has tortured and k**led legions in Cuba.

Welcome to 2015, which should be called ‘The Year of Walking Backwards’.

Reagan’s task was made tougher by the fact that the Cold War’s anti-c*******t arguments had so recently been discredited in Vietnam. As deputy assistant secretary to the Air Force, J. Michael Kelly, put it, “the most critical special operations mission we have … is to persuade the American people that the c*******ts are out to get us.”

Looks like the propaganda machine is still working on paranoids like JMHO! LOL

Gershman and his NED played important behind-the-scenes roles in instigating the Ukraine crisis by financing activists, journalists and other operatives who supported the c**p against elected President Yanukovych. The NED-backed Freedom House also beat the propaganda drums. [See Consortiumnews.com’s “A Shadow Foreign Policy.”]

(1) One of the most common uses of propaganda is to sell unnecessary and counter-productive wars. Given that the American media is always pro-war, mainstream publishers, producers, editors, and reporters are willing participants.
(2) A 4-part BBC documentary called the “Century of the Self” shows that an American – Freud’s nephew, Edward Bernays – created the modern field of manipulation of public perceptions, and the U.S. government has extensively used his techniques.
(3) Sometimes, the government plants disinformation in American media in order to mislead foreigners. For example, an official government summary of America’s o*******w of the democratically-elected president of Iran in the 1950′s states, “In cooperation with the Department of State, CIA had several articles planted in major American newspapers and magazines which, when reproduced in Iran, had the desired psychological effect in Iran and contributed to the war of nerves against Mossadeq”

JMHO is one of those gullible dupes that believe the propaganda.

It is long but interesting....

Good post. I as one person, do not want to celebrate c*******m.
C*******m had been modelled and the horrors of human oppression under c*******m have been witnessed. No thank you.
