Why because they allow people to attend college that normally couldn't go.

Maybe you think only the wealth should be able to send their kids to college.

So. You are going to fix it by denying student loans? How will uneducated young people help this country? If this country is to compete in the modern world, we need to educate as many young people as we can. We need to give them as much education as they can absorb.

Loans don't have to be denied. They need to be repaid.
How successful are these grads if they can't pay off their debt.

You are correct. They do need to be repaid. My grandson has a student loan. I told him I would pay his tuition, but he said he already had a loan. He needed a computer. So I bought the computer. He quit school and went to work, and was slapped with a repayment schedule. He made the payments, which were reasonable, until he moved in with me. Because he had no money and no job, I made the payments for him. He is back at work, but I am still paying on the loan for him. Had I not offered to pay his tuition, I would not be doing so. He went back to school last semester, and I paid for it. If he goes back next semester, I will pay for that also. Most kids are not that lucky.

The point is: the repayment schedule he was given was reasonable.

Had never heard of an effen solution. Looked it up and came up with prices of vodka. Let's try common sense. My common sense, nor yours.

Are you kidding? Students in public colleges and universities are not getting an education, they are getting indoctrinated.

Check out these courses offered at major universities. These are a sampling of courses obviously useless to society, not to mention the disconnect from the realities of productive employment. There are many more courses like these. Bloody shame that these kinds of courses are popular among the skulls full of mush who attend college.

Lesbian Lives - DePaul University

The Politics and Aesthetics Of Black Q***r Formations - Princeton University

Ecofeminism - University of South Carolina

Prostitution and Social Control: Governing Loose Women - Oberlin College

Mad Dogs, Vampires and Zombie Ants: Behavior Mediating Infections - Vassar College

Possessive Investment In Whiteness - Stanford University

This is Sparta! - Brown University

How To Win A Beauty Pageant - Oberlin College

How to Rule the World - Bowdoin College

Politics of Obesity - University of California, Santa Cruz

I saw a man-on-the-street video where a fella was asking questions of students on the campus of a major university.

Question: Who is the vice president of the United States?
1 student out of 13 got it right, and that was a guess. The others had no clue.

Question: Who won the Civil War?
Not one correct answer. Most didn't even know what war the interviewer was talking about.

It went on. More questions of similar nature with similar results.

Last question asked of each student or group of students. Who is Brad Pitt's wife? Every one got that one correct. Go figure.

Yeah, grace, let's make damn sure these kids get an "ijikashun".

How many of these courses are REQUIRED for the degree the student is pursuing? They are bunny courses.

I saw the video you are referring to, or one similar to it, and was appalled. All I can say is they did not grow up in our household.

America needs to read Dr. Ben Carson's book "One Nation"

It's way over the head (reading and comprehension) of the average college student's abilities. Besides, the liberal socialist professors would fail the poor student for reading such conservative nonsense.
