That’s a vague response.
The first amendment to the U.S. Constitution states "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." The two parts are known as the "establishment clause" and the "free exercise clause"

When the Jewish Bible, the Old Testament was created times were quite different.
Sacrificing children, stoning women adulteress, owning s***es, not eating shellfish or wearing gold or any of the dozens of other laws are no longer relevant.
Brilliant of ‘the powers the be’ to find an ancient law that would pit tribes, us, against each other. They fanned the flames for years. Divide and conquer.
Now you have speaker who has suggested incarnating anyone who chooses to be honest and come out of the closet.
Age old debate. Being born gay is no different than being born white, black or in South East Asia. If you had been born in a different part of world you would worship differently.
Born gay is natural in the animal world. Not a choice.
It is a very long cycle of gays needing to be closeted and gays being accepted in a society. Comes and goes. People get hurt. We all have different perspectives on who is getting hurt.
