Lewiston: "No Way To Prevent This," Says Only Nation Where This Regularly Happens
LEWISTON, MEβIn the hours following a violent rampage in Maine in which a lone attacker k**led at least 16 individuals and injured numerous others, citizens living in the only country where this kind of mass k*****g routinely occurs reportedly concluded Wednesday ππππ πππππ πππ ππ πππ ππ πππππππ πππ ππππππππ ππππ ππππππ πππππ.
βThis was a terrible tragedy, but sometimes these things just happen and thereβs nothing anyone can do to stop them,β said Idaho resident Peter Carter, echoing sentiments expressed by tens of millions of individuals who reside in a nation where over half of the worldβs deadliest mass shootings have occurred in the past 50 years and whose citizens are 20 times more likely to die of gun violence than those of other developed nations. βItβs a shame, but what can we do? There really wasnβt anything that was going to keep this individual from snapping and k*****g a lot of people if thatβs what they really wanted.β
At press time, residents of the only economically advanced nation in the world where roughly two mass shootings have occurred every month for the past eight years were referring to themselves and their situation as βhelpless.β

There is definitely a way to prevent this, or at least reduce the threat, but those looking for ways to prevent such things, mostly politicians, are targeting the effects rather than the cause.
They are focusing on symptoms rather than the disease.
The cause of such violence is a very complex problem,
and if you unable or unwilling to identify the problem, you will never find a solution.
The idea that American citizens are 20 times more likely to die of gun violence than those of other developed nations is patently false.
With a homicide rate of around 6 murders per 100,000 citizens, the United States is behind 75 other countries - Homicide rates in Central and South America, including Mexico, and some African countries are far higher than in the US.
Right now, with a homicide rate of 49 per 100K, the Virgin Islands leads the pack, and at 41/100K South Africa is a close second. Mexico, at 28/100K, is almost 5 times higher than the US.

You mean like more useless, ineffective gun control laws?
That useless?

Yes, that useless
Great - you work on useless things and I will work on things that work.

If Christ returned tomorrow in the heavens with legions of Angels and the entire world could see Him, your guttural hatred of Him and His goodness would find you outside, shaking your fist at Him, cursing Him and spitting at Him.

I was skeptical at the claim that Americans are twenty times more likely to die of gun violence & I am glad you issued that correction but remember, Blade_Runner & you should know by now, liberals are entitled to make up their facts because they are better than us. Just ask them.

Prayers if given with sincerity are never useless - we may not receive the answer we are seeking but the prayer was answered. We may not know why the answer to a prayer is no - but one day we will understand.
