If you recall that about 20 years ago Gray Davis was recalled. There were two options on the b****t. Number 1 was to recall Gray Davis and number 2 was a slate of names from which to pick his successor. There were over 400 names on that list. Wouldn’t it be better at every e******n to let each person who wanted to run be allowed to have their name on the b****t? Every candidate would have to pay each state to put their name on the b****t. There would not be a need for a primary e******n either. Candidates would have to bear the cost of printing their qualifications on the materials sent to the v**ers. If they don’t pay for the qualification blurb they only get their name on the b****t.

You will say that only rich people could run with those conditions but how would that be different than now? Now we have the elected people trying to get re-elected for the last year of their term and doing nothing for the population. They neglect their elected offices to run for more time to do nothing.
