For more than 80 years the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints has warned the membership to be prepared to take care of their individual families. Some heed the warnings and others don’t. It will be that way in the general population of this nation. Some people will say that they will just come and take the storage from those who follow the admonition to prepare. Pr********n means that you will be able to survive for a year without assistance from anyone other than yourself or your own family. Pr********n also means staying out of debt and having some hard cash on hand. Being prepared to defend oneself and ones family against marauders is also a plus.
The members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints have historically been oppressed by the governing leaders of many places they tried to live. Governor Boggs of Missouri passed an Extermination Order against the Mormons. They were k**led, raped, and run out of Missouri and their land was confiscated by Missouri. As far as I know that church is the only one in US history that the US Army marched against.
Confiscation of private property is masked as being done for the good of the community. It is called Eminent Domain. Too many times the law has been used to secure property for politicians or their friends who make money from the sale of the stolen property. It happened twice to my own parents and once to my wife’s parents.
This time if the politicians and government begin confiscation of food it might bring home the t***h that your rulers and their laws are not there to protect you. I doubt if the majority of the people will even understand then.

Once you have acquired your food supply place it in a container that won’t go bad and bury it. They can’s take what they can’t find.
