Is Impeachment on the Republican Agenda come January?

I do not have the exact figure about how many threads here have noted at least twenty impeachable offenses by the president but it has been quite a bit; over a hundred does not seem farfetched. From what I gathered to be the sole reason these proceedings have been delayed was the Democrat held Senate, which would never indict. That obstacle is gone. If Obama's crimes are so patently egregious and numerous, as Republicans for years have complained about his birth certificate and the many "scandals," impeachment proceedings should surely start at the first session, right?

And of course it is not just OPP that has been extremely vocal but prominent members of Congress, Fox News, and other Conservative voices. These proceedings against Obama, by all accounts on the Right, should be a given, especially with the only obstacle removed to success. I can imagine that salivating over this "done deal" has begun for many. But what if it doesn't happen?

Like B****s "droning on and on about r****m" in America, the Right has droned on and on about the president's actions in office. All the d**gged out and harped upon "scandals," none the less of which are his "imperial" executive orders (less than Bush) and his expensive vacations (less than Bush), has made him out to be as sinister as Mao. If Congress does not look to impeach, what could possibly be the reason? Could it be one of these two things: much ado about nothing or a tempest in a teacup?

I do not have the exact figure about how many thre... (show quote)

Removal from office requires a two thirds (or is it three quarters) majority in the senate. Given the number of wuss politicians and ignoramuses in the senate it will not happen.

Even if it did, Biden would take over, issue pardons for Obama's many crimes and be eligible (with the advantage of being a sitting president) for e******n in the next two p**********l e******ns.

I would love to see Obama punished for his crimes, but it will not happen on this earth.

The lefties want impeachment. A battle to save the first Black President would allow them to claim r****m. It is all they got left. Obama is a failure. He is deliberately provoking impeachment so that he can be the victim.

Imagine if he stays in office the next two years and nobody cares. Poor Barry. He needs them evil Republicans to attack him. Republicans have not taken power and already the Obamaites are trying to rally what is left of their base against impeachment.

Will victimology work again? Maybe. Jonathan Gruber was right. The American v**er is a moron. Except in 2010 and 2014.

Well, there are plenty. I suggest you pull your head out of the sand and do some research, not only the Constitution but on the performance of Obama. I do hope that the democrats will wake up before the next e******n and v**e based on qualifications and not on the color of skin.
