The people who call themselves "Palestinians", are the descendants of the "Philistines".

The Philistines are the people from which came the Giant Goliath, of whom David k**led with a sling and a stone.
David then took Goliaths massive sword and cut off the giants head.
This shocked the entire Philistine army and the Bible describes what happened next.
(1 Samuel 17:41)
[When the other Philistines saw their hero was dead, they turned and ran. The soldiers of Israel and Judah shouted and started chasing the Philistines. The Israelites chased them all the way to the city limits of Gath and to the gates of Ekron. They k**led many of the Philistines. Their bodies were scattered along the Shaaraim road all the way to Gath and Ekron.]
This epic battle took place in the Elah Valley and the map below shows the distance between the Elah Valley and both Ekron and Gath.
So according to scripture, the bodies of the Philistines were scattered all along these routes.
Today the battle continues between these ancient enemies and there seems to be no end in sight.
But the descendants of David have drastically changed their weaponry.
Today they are capable of slinging ballistic missiles and their ultimate stone is in the form of nuclear hellfire.
The Philistines have now gained allies and they have for themselves a new Goliath.
The new Goliath is IRAN.
