One year ago, way back in 2022, Republicans came to the American people and said ‘Give us power. You can trust us. Look at those gas prices. Look at inflation.’

V**ers looked around and saw Donald Trump, and rights being taken from women with alarming speed, and marched to the polls to say, ‘No thanks.’

However, Republicans in several red states gerrymandered African-American majority districts out of existence, while New York Democrats imploded, and could not agree on a new e******n map, and the result was that the Republicans only won the midterm popular v**e by 2.8% and ended up with what would become a 5 seat majority.

As soon as House Republicans won, chaos was the order of the day.

The matches were struck for today’s culminating inferno when it took 15 v**es to elect a Speaker of the House.

Kevin McCarthy gave everything to win the speakership, including his own future, which came to an end today.

The cable news talkers will tell you that McCarthy being removed from power was where this was always going to end up, but the funny thing is before Tuesday’s v**e, they never expressed this opinion.

Today’s events were about more than Kevin McCarthy and Matt Gaetz.

The motion to vacate wasn’t really about MAGA.

What happened in the House was about democracy, and what happens when a political party turns against basic democratic principles.

I listened to Gaetz on the floor of the house he blamed every Republican failure on Biden. He forgot to mention that the few pieces of legislation passed in the house was rejected by Democrats and republicans in the senate.

Not to mention how out of control Trump was at the Manhattan court house. Well he stepped over the line when he posted personal information on the judges court clerk. The judge had no choice but to issue a gag order on Trump.

What is wrong with you Gaetz made a fool out of every Republican in congress. Trump posted personal information on a court clerk that judge had no options but to place a gag order on Trump. He thinks he’s back in the days when he was working in NY city with the Mafia. He is trying to intimidate judges, jurist, DA, AG he needs to shut his mouth and prove his innocence.
Damm what is it with you people.

Can you all even believe we have been forced to endure this insanity. What has happened? Does anyone know a person who v**ed for Gaetz. I’m thinking a drunk old lady who thinks he’s cute. Maybe it’s a crooked contractor, inspired by the sheer smarminess of Gaetz. Or maybe he’s a down b****t phenomena. This can’t go on, we need to all take a trip to visit in the Gaetz, Greene, Boebert districts. I just have to know what sorts of people like Gaetz. Really, think about it. Just an interesting psychological puzzle.

You about have to be a democrat to not understand how quote reply works. Without knowing who you’re talking to it’s hard to know what you’re trying to say.
