No.....but I bet your husband is.

I would have lost that bet.

Hey there you old extinct fossil, you! Haven't run across one of your posts in a while. I hope and pray you are doing well.
Your post makes me want to go dig out my coats a little early. Up until 8 years ago, I love LOVED the cold, and h**ed summer heat. But after I had a heart attack (blockage fixed with a stint....on April Fools Day no less), my body did a reversal. Now, anything less than 75 degrees and I'm looking for a heavier sweater. Summer days are no longer a problem for me, but I spend from November to April shivering.
Best wishes always, my friend!
Randy

Thank you much, RB! I hope all is well with you and yours down there in the Texas Republic. We got overrun with leftards last e******n here in Michiganistan. As long as they leave me alone, I'll stay happy. I just got my CPL renewal and I can renew it for five years on the Internet. I can't imagine having a shall issue law pass with all these democRats in power now. Thankfully, we got shall issue in 2001. Ted Nugent lived around here for many years and when my ten year old daughter and my wife went shopping for a compound bow at his store in Jackson, he spent several hours with her choosing just the right bow, a Browning and showing her the Mystical Flight of the Arrow and how to achieve it. Theodore von Nugemeister is AOK in my book! I used to see him at the Jackson Armory in the early Sixties. I even experienced a brain aneurysm at a Ted Nugent concert in Lansing back in 2006.

Welcome back, Peg!
And no, he is saying nothing of the kind. I see your sk**l at taking a comment and twisting it and exaggerating it until it is completely devoid of any accuracy remains fully intact.

Glad to hear you are doing well. What a nice guy that Ted N. has turned out to be! Personally, I never cared much for his music, but he sure is an A number 1 first class AMERICAN!!!!

Well, I'm a head-banger from waaay back. Wango Tango Sweet Poontang is a good one. I don't care for country, except for Willy Nelson and the old stuff from way back when. Ferlin Husky, Kitty Wells, Hank Sr. and Jr. and a few more I can't think of. Carry on!

Hey, I used to live in California in the Seventies. I lived on East Compton Boulevard for several years. I've lived in Monrovia and Duarte, too. I left in 1980. I got tired of half my paycheck going to taxes and fees. I prefer a swamp to a desert. I used to ride the desert near Apple Valley, off the Boulder Road exit from 15-E. Many fond memories and great people, though. Nice place to visit. This is my back yard now.

I am with you on the music Ted is Awesome live and while I don't agree with his politics I respect his right to say so. Also Todays country is NOT country it's pop with country twang Although there are some new trad acts I do like. I will always be an OutLaw but AJ(Alan Jackson, George Strait and Garth I still listen too with a few others. I am also a fan of Hank W ,III he sounds more like his Grandaddy early on. I grew up on both Rock and Roll and CW My dad got me into Western Swing with Bob Wills and his successors Asleep At The Wheel and we always watched HeeHaw on Saturday night along with Porter and Dolly and listened to the Opry on the Radio while night fishing growing up.

Very similar history with me.

As a teen in the 60's I listened to the Beatles, Stones, etc. - but on Saturday night would tune in to the Grand Ole Opry.....

Also really liked (and still do) the pre-Beatles 'pop': Folk, DoWop, MoTown, etc.

Where did you fish? I spent my growing summers at a fishing cabin on Mathis Lake.
