Why Be An Independent V**er?

One becomes an independent v**er when they have too much integrity to be a Democrat and too much backbone to be a Republican. One is an independent v**er when they realize the lesser of two evils is still evil.

In Rhode Island you have to declare yourself to be either a Democrat or a Republican to v**e in primary e******ns and can change back to independent on the way out. It works for many of us independent v**ers.

Michael Roy, as I am an independent v**er, I v**e for the best candidate and that candidate might be a Democrat or a Republican. V****g in a primary helps to get that good person on the b****t.

I have been an Independent for many years because I know there are always two sides to every story and do research to verify what I hear about both sides!! I am just one who looks at candidates and how they v**ed on topics I think that are important - who they affiliate with - their special interests - and the big one, who their biggest donors are!! I have v**ed on both sides of the aisle but anymore it sure isn`t the Democrats!! To be honest, my first BIG eye opener was the Democrat support for the Marxist B*M and all the damage they did!! That was it for me as far as v****g for a Democrat!!

In NC, we can pick either party for the preliminary v****g. I've done so when I'm particularly impressed by certain candidates and will do so again. If you declare for one of the others, you are locked in that party's preliminary v****g. Of course, on e******n day, you get to choose from the entire roster from all parties.
