I like to extend the pain as long as possible. Makes prison seem more like an actual deterrent. The death penalty does nothing as a deterrent. If you want someone punished, then punish him. The reprobate gets punished, which is the point.

Well, this liberal would like him to forfeit his ill-gotten assets, and then he should have to live a lowly life of minimum wage, be a single parent of two children of color. These two children should have behaviors and cognitive delay. The Social Workers should have surveillance cameras on and monitored daily.
When he has proven that he has raised two well-adjusted adults, then he should be placed in gen-pop, pound your ass in prison, until he is a normally functioning adult. Then he can go to Level 2 as a prisoner with the privileges of doing menial, humiliating, and unnecessary jobs.
