I heard something on History Channel that some people might find interesting. How likely is evolution to have happened totally by chance? Take the entired Encyclopedia Brittanica. Cut every single word out of every single page, (approximately 44 million ), and throw them out of an airplane. The odds of those 44 million words rearranging themselves back into their original order by chance alone before they hit the ground are about the same as those of evolution occurring by chance alone. The comment on atheism jogged my memory.

I honestly believe that the only reason people believe in evolution is because the only other option is abhorrent to them.

Grugore, merry Christmas. And yes the idea that we all will answer for our deeds and if we accepted JESUS is too much for the majority of people. If they were to accept the LORD as their saviour they think life is a d**g. I never knew real joy until I accepted HIM. Do I still get angry at stupid things, ie liberals? yes but I've asked for guidance and patience. Anyway here's to a great 2015 and may the new Congress try and rein in this lawless administration. GOD BLESS

The actor James Woods has called Al Sharpton a d********g pig for his actions and rhetoric over the past few months after the Ferguson/Michael Brown & New York/Eric Garner cases. There is no doubt that Sharpton has helped create an atmosphere that led to the murders of those two policemen in Brooklyn. And while I agree with the sentiment of calling him a d********g pig, I nevertheless believe it is not right. Pigs deserve better & for that matter, for anyone who tries to find another name to call him, such as a snake or scum, they deserve better also.

I can only agree with you as many yrs ago I raise hogs and as cantankerous as they can be shouldn't have to endure the shame knowing that al sharpton was referred to as one of them

Thank you. There are no words to describe Sharpton. He is a peddler of dissension and hatred. He lives only to further himself. In his fancy clothes and shoes & chauffeur driven limousine, he has nothing in common with the people he purports to represent. He is a vile man.

There is another analogy. Life resulting from some primordial stew of chemicals is akin to having a tornado pass through an automobile junkyard and leave a Boeing 727 in its wake.

Evolution has never been induced under controlled laboratory conditions. Attempts have included bombarding flower seeds with more ionizing radiation and electricity than they might ever experience billions of years resulted in unchanged flowers.

No one has been able to predict a course of change, a requirement of scientific proof. All new discoveries are explained to fit into the theory rather than asking if they do fit. It is given a deference not shown to relativity, Boyle's Law, gravity, etc.

God is the only logical answer for the question of origins. A materialistic view, no matter how it's expressed, has to deal with infinite regressions, or the theory that energy has always existed. Both have major problems. Anyway, science cannot answer the question of where everything came from. The Bible can.

There is no doubt that science has given mankind much knowledge, understanding, and benefits. However, a good definition of science could be: The exploration and attempt to define Gods wonderful creation.
