Yes it does. Sadly He was gone too soon but he left us a magnificent collection of great songs.

Way back when I was playing in bars and clubs, I knew all of Hank's songs, even the ones he wrote when he was known as Luke The Drifter.

Trivia fact: He nick-named Hank Jr after a puppet called Bocephus. Hank Jr. thought it was such a cool name that he started calling himself that, and his close friends and family called him that too. Jr. mentions it in a lot of his songs...named an album "Bocephus"....
I love both Hanks!! 😄

I think the Cajun meaning of Bocephus is Boy Child. Some more trivia, Several years ago I went on a road trip down to Hamilton, Darby area and thought I might hit a few bars and maybe run across Hank Jr. Every bar I stopped at, they told me the same thing. "He used to come in here until he got 86'd". I guess he'd been 86'd from almost all the bars in Montana.

Last tme I knew, there was still no certainty in which state he had died. His journey began in Bristol, Tennessee & ended in West Virginia only to discover him dead in the back seat.
George Hamilton was believable playing him in, "You're C***ting Heart." Personally, I Hamilton was an underrated actor.
Like so many other great songwriters, I don't think Hank Williams could read or write music. In that he joins Paul McCartney (last I knew), Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and dozens of others.

Yes I liked George Hamilton in Your C***ting Heart. I noticed that too, that not many singers or songwriters read or write music.
