WWIII: The Calm Before the Storm

"In historical terms, these are the final seconds of the 11th hour, and the clock is ticking.
"'World War III' is a loaded term (as are many historical references).
It assumes that these tragic mass murders that humanity calls war, are isolated events with distinct beginnings and ends. This kind of over simplification obscures the multi-generational chain reactions that lead up to that moment when swords are drawn or missiles fly.

"Of course, there is another reason that the public is rarely conscious of these chain reactions. The ruling classes learned long ago that the best way to take a nation to war, is to trick them into it.

"Vietnam was an extension of the
Cold War, which was an extension
of World War II, which was a direct
result of the terms imposed on
Germany following World War I.

"This multifaceted conflict that is unfolding right now between the declining powers of the West and geopolitical and economic upstarts from the East may not end up being labeled as 'World War III' in the history books. Perhaps they'll continue to label each phase with a catchy name, like 'Operation Baltic Freedom' or 'Operation Siberian Storm'. Wh**ever.

"On the other hand, if someone does something stupid, history books may not make it through the aftermath at all. Of course I would never insinuate that the United States government would ever do anything stupid. It's not like the country is run by a gaggle of war mongering imbeciles. Well, actually, I suppose that depends on how you define the word 'imbecile'.

"Congress did just pass Resolution 758,
and the 'The Ukraine Freedom Support
Act of 2014' which lay the foundation for open and direct conflict between the
US and Russia (the law provides for lethal aid to Kiev), more sanctions are on the
table, and of course if you've been paying attention you might have noticed that
Washington is playing a game of high stakes chicken with oil prices, with a little
help from our good friends the Saudis. All the while playing hardball with China
in South East Asia, and ramping up production of nuclear weapons while their
puppets in Kiev continue to shell civilians in eastern Ukraine. What could possibly go wrong?

"Heading into 2015, it may have appeared that we were having something of a calm before the storm, but that was an illusion (created by selective reporting). This war is already hot on multiple fronts. It has been for years. All it takes is one stupid move for proxy wars to cut out the middle man, andthen all bets are off.
"To even consider a direct military confrontation between the US and Russia is
insane. The consequences would be nothing short of unthinkable. Yet, humanity seems to be sleepwalking right into that very scenario.

"Could we as a people stop this? Of course we could. These so called rulers don't actually have power, they just have your obedience. Will you withdraw that obedience, on time, or will you continue to allow yourself to be distracted by bread, circuses, and pointless bickering?
"If you were planning on shifting gears, now would be the time to do it. In historical terms these are the final seconds of the 11th hour,
and the clock is ticking."

I never liked any of the Bush's. GW Senior led us into a nasty depression and Junior raped our treasury in his assault on Iraq's oil. Both are RINO's.
Even so, Obama has done more to wreck our nation at home and abroad than all the Bush's combined. He's plunged us so far into debt that we literally can never get out of it. It can never be paid off now and we will be paying out hundreds of billions of dollars every year in just interest on that debt, money that could be rebuilding our disintegrating infrastructure instead, building new schools, building and maintaining a security fence between us and Mexico, expelling i*****l a***ns, encouraging new American manufacturing, the list of what could and should be done is endless, almost as endless as the crimes Obama and his friends have committed against the rest of us.

So while he vacations in Hawaii at a cost of half a billion dollars to the rest of us, let's hope he at least gets sunstroke or a life-threatening sunburn, or eats some bad fish or something! America needs some payback.

Who? Harry Reid, of course. He's tabled every single Republican-authored bill that's come out of Congress. EVERY SINGLE ONE! You can't blame Congress or Republicans in Congress for the Democrat attack on our country.

You are off your meds! Economic growth the best in 11 years??!! Where do you get your statistics, out of Mad magazine, or Marvel comic books?

This recovery is anemic at best! The unemployment is still 11.7% (U6 number, which is the real number), and the national debt is at $18T. Obama is responsible for close to $8T of it, and that does not include the TARP bill that was counted on Bush's watch, even though he only spent half, and saved the other half for Obama, and then the banks paid it all back, with interest, which skewed Obama's spending down. The interest on that debt currently is $206B annually, about 6% of the budget. When interest rates reach pre-2008 levels once again, that interest on that debt will be over one trillion dollars annually, about 30% of the budget. Current entitlements, including Obamacare, currently take up 60% to 65% of the budget, add the 6% debt payment, and there is only around 30% of the budget left for defense, education, operation of the government, infrastructure, etc. The treasury coffers have taken a record amout of tax dollars over the past two fiscal years, and we're still running an annual half trillion dollar deficit. Yeah, tell me about this great Obama economy...only morons believe it is a good economy.

No, not stretching it a bit. Now if you would watch REAL NEWS on your TV, you would know that. But, then you get your statistics from the same skewed news broadcasts, or more accurately out of your ass.
