You can't teach an old dog new tricks. Joe is an old dog. I'm not a fan of shock collars. One of my friends thought I was barbaric because when I grew up we always had choker chains on our dogs. He refuses to do that, but he will use a shock collar, which to me is barbaric.

I only intended for the shock collar and muzzle to be used on Biden. Training any aged dog a new "behavior" isn't difficult if you are consistent and patient. It helps if the dog is healthy and treat-oriented as part of a reward-based training.
