Marxist/democrats bought and paid for and they claim the high ground what a farce. No doubt Republicans are just as guilty too.

I don't know of any republicans who have been charged with a crime like this, why did you feel that you had to add that to your post, just to appease the liberals?

I don't appease Marxist/democrats, a politician is a very venal animal and it doesn't take much to buy one off. You haven't noticed how our Republican establishment leaders tend to bring up legislation and v**e for it, that is opposite of what they promised during the campaign? They have been bought off, just not caught yet.

I'm not surprised that Kathleen Kane shut down this investigation. She is a Democrat that does not play fair. She won the Attorney General spot in Pennsylvania with a smear campaign against her opponent, David Freed. David ran a clean campaign while Kathleen ran a campaign full of lies intended to make David look bad. Ignorant v**ers bought it. After the e******n, I told David (what he probably knew by then) that he must get down in the mud and compete at their level. He is just too wholesome to be a winner.

I don't think waiting for any of them to get caught is the answer. Corruption is kind of like what road salt does to automobiles and over time they collapse into a pile of useless rust. Neither party has clean hands when it comes to corruption and I see no reason to not root it out and expose all who partake.

This caught my eye, 'Because Waters, Brown and other legislators involved in the bribery scheme are black, Democratic Attorney General Kathleen Kane shut down the investigation in March. She claimed that the investigation was “poorly conceived, badly managed and tainted by r****m…[and] had targeted African-Americans.” Williams, who also is black, was particularly incensed by this claim, saying that he was “disgusted that the attorney general would bring r****m into this case. It’s like pouring gasoline on a fire for no reason, no reason at all.'

All black and all democrat? Reverse prejudice?
Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane is white and democrat, that qualifies as reverse prejudice!

That they do, and they're just as corrupt as any of the Democrats. We're in a world of trouble, folks! :?

Personally, after the CRomnibus bill, I wonder if John Boehner took a bribe, or just spread his legs for free?

Not to be r****t here, as that would be...Well..R****t. But, both of those indicted were black. And democrats. If it were black republicans, i would have the same thinking...Throw the book at them.
Never allow a public office again.
Logic tells me in this instance, just as it is in v**e f***d, when you find one cockroach, you KNOW there are more.
Democrat or republican, the cockroaches need to be exterminated..
Oh, they'll be back, for sure, but, at least wipe them out when you can.

Alinsky warned the Marxist radicals to "deceive, deceive, deceive." Maybe not in exactly that phraseology, but [that] was the all-important message when dealing with and trying to o*******w a free-market, Western culture!!!
I suppose much of what the "RULES" [for Radicals] said was plagiarized from Marx, Lenin and Trotsky, and they
all must be "spinning" in their graves. Perhaps the
friction of all that spinning may be causing some of the unexplained forest fires!!!

Who knew in the progressive "movement," that the "race" card couldn't be used on conservative b****s. Who knew
in the progressive movement that there would BE conservative b****s!!! Better get out the drawing board again; the hundred + years of c*******t deception in the "progressive" form in America seems to be in the "death throws" of a persistent 7th century thought pattern. Oh, too bad, Cynthia!!!

I don't think you have to bribe him. The way he acts, he is nothing but a first class RINO. It is past time to get rid of him as Speaker and I would not mind him out of Congress totally. We really don't need his kind of slim ball running loose anywhere. If the new Republicans don't put in a different speaker this time, then there will be hell to pay.

All right, all right, break it up folks. Nothing to see here. Go on home. Two corrupt state politicians, really, someone thinks that's news? This is an obvious case of Democrats gone bad. This case, however, does point out the differences between state politics and federal politics. Had this been done on a federal level this wouldn't be a story at all, because at the federal level it isn't called bribery, it's called lobbying.
