These guys will lie through their teeth to stay out of jail. On "law and order", they always ask, Are you getting a special deal for your (possibly FALSE) testimony about the defendant. Most of the time, their testimony is worthless, b/c they'll do and say anything to stay out of jail....and everybody knows it.
