After Hurricane Idalia slammed into Florida last week, reports of electric vehicles catching fire after coming into contact with floodwaters began to emerge. At least two Tesla vehicles — one in Pinellas Park and another in Palm Harbor — ignited after being contaminated by saltwater from storm surge.
Electric vehicle owners were advised to move any car that came into recent contact with saltwater to immediately relocate the vehicle, specifically if it was parked in a garage.

More bad news about Joe Biden's mandate for electric vehicles. I wonder if his Corvette is electric.

Bo it’s an older vette !! These folks won’t give up the gas powered cars because they will have a running vehicle when they stop the flow of electricity from the minions!

I don't think that will help. He has eight cylinders and seven dead spark plugs and the other cylinder is rusted in place. And he probably hasn't had a jump in 20 years. His battery only has one working cell and that was mostly ruined in a flood of lies. Three flat tires and one missing. Need we go on? Does he need to go on? Haul that sorry old crooked junk to the dump.

It needs more than a jump!!
Ev's have a really big problem, they run on DC, and I don't mean direct current!
I do not think and Electric Corvette was ever built..
Such out rage over EV.. Odd, they have been with us for many years. If not for the concentrated Gasoline crowd to drive all other forms of prpulsion out of the market, they could well be many years ahead in the needed technology for today.. Remember, at one time steam cars held every speed and performance record of the day.. and yet were set aside as the drawbacks were loudly advertised by the gas people...
I would think the Hybrid would get much more promotion to fill in while the EV is brought to fullfillment.
Again, the 1900 EV of excellence..
Maybe the UAW will strike and run the costs of land motor vehicles up even higher.
60% or so of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck and running their credit cards to the limit.
Here's a president pushing EV's and constantly bragging about his 1967 Corvette.
Let's go Brandon.
If I was makng $400,000 a year I would probably buy one of those electric cars. I am retired and really cannot afford to buy any car. I just hope the one I have doesn't tear up on me.

Credit card use and bankruptcies are now approaching all time highs. Good job Brandan.
The cheapest one is $102,000. Forget it.
GEEZ, I suppose they all have to get on the band wagon after all the promotion..
Wonder if they will have EV d**g races???
