sort of a shame I missed getting this on a post put up by Tucker (I think)a week or so ago..


Over the weekend my-son-the-lawyer showed up with his family.. had not seen him for months.. full of stories about their trip to Italy... big deal, the real news was the new car.. A Hybrid made by Honda.. some name which I never did get a handle on.. Just some initials.. but a truly nice car.. still with "new car" smell.. and the quitest I have ever ridden in.. however, I was a bet less then impressed by the milage he is getting.. 38 MPG.. I expected more from a hybrid... but I did not tell him that. On the other hand, he may have been only using the mileage when the gas was being used and not including the electric.. MMMM, have to ask him some time..

Then on other EV news, on monday our electric coop, informed us that the are having an EV "open house" one town over in Mid Sept.. may go to that.. see most of the available cars, some to drive, big deal Q and A session... Should be interesting.. I will indeed report if anything of note results from the day..

So, all in all, this combination was fun for me... and a portrait of the future...
