Pretty accurate interpretation.
Of course there is always debate on this Book.
One must take into consideration history, culture, language, and more when dealing with these old books.
The main story is always the same though.
Mankind will face the justice of the creator at some point, and is in no position to bargain.
Better to have taken the free gift, than face it alone.

Why do people always seem to think they’re living on the cusp of Armageddon? It’s all nonsense.
Many Church Fathers at Nicaea wanted Revelation excluded from the canon because it was so unbelievably bizarre.
