Good ideas, I'm familiar with most and I doubt many will actually see use other than lab exercises. There is one thing that can be readily achieved that no one seems to be talking about and that is simply going back to using glass for all our bottles and jars or is that too simple a concept?

Seems it wasn't too 'expensive' in days gone by and if we're willing to spend huge amounts of money on unproven tech why would we not be willing to spend on a proven idea? After all 'it's for the good of the planet' right? Beside, it would also provide a source of income for youngsters and homeless collecting and recycling. Perhaps humans have just become too pussified to carry those 'heavy' bottles & jars.

Sold/delivered bottled water for 38 years. Sound environmental policies are deterred by lawyers, work comp, and s**theads. Pricing would reflect actual costs.
