Your writing is easy to understand but your reading abilities may be a little suspect. If you paid any attention to my post you may have seen that I accused Keith Ellison of being the first Congressman to take his oath of office on the Koran. I watched Obama do it, at least the first time, on the Holy Bible. It seemed he thought using Lincoln's Bible would do him some good and he didn't have the Koran under it.
Nope, you just get too excited when people talk about Obama and Muslims. He may be a Muslim sympathizer but I can't prove he is one. Of course, I don't use left leaning sources for my info, either.
I will bet you spend more time thinking about Norquist than I ever have. I never hear him talk and surely as hell don't read him. How about you? I bet you get more of your info about him from Stink Prog or HuffPo than any place else.

The sorriest part of what katfish has to say is that he didn't read what I wrote in the opening post. He took it for granted that I said that Obama used the Koran to be sworn in and that indicated to me that either he doesn't know his ass from page 9 about punctuation or using commas to separate parts of sentences just doesn't work. Here are my words why Keith Ellison, the first Congressman to be sworn in with his hand on the Koran and I don't see the name of Obama in them, do you? These leaner whiners can never separate names from that of Obama and they can never separate anything that could be against a******n from anything else they don't care for. They read like 2nd graders.

I did notice after the fact, that I was in error. Being new to the community I do not know how to edit my post. My apologies.
While I'm sure my resentment of Norquist goes far beyond any feelings you have for him. I would probably suggest you were much more captivated by Monica Lewinsky's story than I was also.
I just wonder sometimes what our nation would be like if congress did things the actually believed would help. Instead they have their back door deals, the you v**e for mine, and I'll v**e for yours, and by all means possible make Obama look bad.
While I do enjoy Huff, I usually double check topics before posting them. I prefer to get my info from Mother Jones, or the Journal. I seldom listen, or watch FOX so I doubt our sources will overlap much.

A few off the top of my head on Obama blunders.
1). Jets to Egypt.
2). US aid to Pakistan for flood damage. This was before Bin Laden. Pakistanis still saw America as a hostile power.
3). Not being more aggressive on securing the border. ( I may be to the right of you on this issue)
4). and the BIG one, The Wall street bailout.

Lol, this is a total fabrication. No Bibles or other religious texts are used during the swearing-in ceremony. Incoming members simply stand before the speaker's podium en masse and swear to uphold the Constitution. A squinch of research woud have uncovered this fact.

Further research, if attempted by yourself, would have provided you with the information that members of Congress can and often later hold private ceremonies to include their family and for the opportunity to have photos taken.

Some people are just clueless. Refuse to educate themselves and just want to spew ignorance everywhere. That is about all I got from your statements. Obama is doing a fine job considering the mess that was handed to him and really at this point it doesn't matter because there is NO WAY to recover from the 8 years of an absolute tragedy the republicans left behind!
