Took a trip up North a few hundred miles...
Gorgeous part of the country..
Reminds me of home...
The first pic is a mountain I climbed with my daughter... Elevation of 1400 meters (4500 feet)
Last two are from a deer park we visited...
That's a fawn that my daughter finally got to pet..
We also visited some caves and a dinosaur museum... My wife was annoyed that they had given the dinosaurs Chinese names... Tried to explain that whoever discovers them gets to name them, but she thinks it should all be latin😂😂
Worked the first fifty days of summer... Tutoring freshmen students and homeschooling my daughter... She loves the Canadian curriculum I found for her.. Especially the science course... The math is far too simple for her (even though we skipped the first grade and started at the second grade)...
Unfortunately, I managed to out on around 15 pounds this summer... Lack of sports and excess of beer... But still feeling good about the summer...
Start the new semester on Monday... Great schedule... And looking forward to seeing the students again...
Spending my last free day at the lake with my daughter... They have a kid park here and she's having a blast... Made friends and splashing in the pool..
Got some beef, sheep, and chicken marinating at home...Gonna do BBQ tonight with some Russian friends that just got back (one fella after almost four years)..
Chicken stuffed peppers wrapped in bacon is my challenge😎😎😎
Amazing how time flies...
All in all, a great summer...
