The devastating inferno caused up to $6 billion in losses, according to Moody’s RMS

Damage from the deadliest wildfire in modern US history, which k**led over 100 people and destroyed countless homes and businesses in Hawaii, could range from $4 billion to $6 billion, according to estimates by Moody’s RMS.

The global catastrophe risk modeling and solutions company said on Tuesday the estimate reflects direct and indirect losses from damage to physical assets. It does not take into account the blaze’s effect on Hawaii’s gross domestic product, government spending on the response to the catastrophe, or the social cost of the fires.

And Biden is giving the people $700. bucks when the homes were listed at $1, mil or more plus the lost businesses. The cost of buying a house in Maui can vary depending on the location and size of the property. The median listing home price with land in Maui is $650,500, $910,349 $1,350,0001.

Who gives a flying fk about the money right now? Between 800 and 1000 people are missing, most of them are children, and they're worrying about GDPs, government spending, social costs, and "physical assets"?

Yeah, there's some "physical assets" out there somewhere, 800 to 1000 of them, people looking for them need help, cuz families need closure, and maybe, just maybe, some of them are still alive.

I still say the Natuva Hawaiians should fence the whole burn area off and declare it a memorial garden to all the lost lives from the fire.that should make some heads explode.
