A fine evening for a movie.
late for a post but just spent the evening with my wife watching an interesting movie.. with one very amusing part..
This is an episode from "3 pines" made in Canada and based on a book series written by a Canadian and with Canadian people.. in other words, this is all Canada... remember that..
So this super rich dweb dies and the spoiled family comes together to read the will..
Of course the old man left a little fortune to each but made sure no one got it all or what they really wanted.. so we have 4 grown children and an old wife all mad as heck about the will and at everyone else..
So it is all over and the lawyer says, Not yet, one more item in the will.. so they go out to the garden of the huge estate and they all gather around an obvious statue.. the Lawyer whips off the canvas covering and reveals the more than life size rendering of the rich papa...
Gasps and chatter from the family,,, then one of them loudley decalres.. "F***, it looks like trump"
laugh,, darn thought I would choke up.. hilarious.. remember , this is an all Canada program and book series...
Oh gosh, I found it far over the top.. great little addition... nothing at all to do with the story line, which was so so..
I know few if any will find this amusing, but just had to post it before I forgot all about it..

Good movie..
Decent acting
I have watched several of these, I get confused, they depart from the book story and omit or add a few characters..
But I do like the books and my wife likes the movies , so I try and watch them with her and we have a nice little evening.. Glad the movie was good to your eyes...

Not my fault Hollywood has lowered the bar to the point where Canadian films can actually compete
