I consider shooting my democrat neighbors daily but have yet to pull the trigger. For now, I'm not a murderer of the environment, the auto industry or the neighbors.

And destructive to "winging it" vacations, too. You have to meticulously plan out where you can charge the battery....and then also plan what to do while it's being charged, which can take hours depending on how much you need to charge up. And if you have a fire, GET OUT as soon as you can, because your car is going to burn out of control with a VERY hot fire that, even if the fire department got there in time, it wouldn't be able to put out...and there will be nothing but ashes and burnt bits of metal when the fire is finally out...

The problems are too many to justify purchasing one for anything other than local short-trip events. At least have a gas car available in case of an emergency occurs and you need a car you can depend on to get you where you need to go WHEN you need to go there....
