The restriction on talking about a trial and prosecution is held from the public because of tainting jury pools, trump endlessly whines and cries about not being able to get fair untainted trials and juries, but he is the one that runs a constant never ending stream of lies and rhetoric. The left has had to resort to releasing facts they normally would consider closely held until the trial so as to offset the endless lies and efforts to create a right wing narrative that has nothing to do with the court.

And on judges and instructions...anyone being prosecuted would be immediately held in contempt of court if a defendant were to insult and talk crap about the judge or prosecutors.

It isn't about sensitive information given to the defense, it's about any evidence given to the defense.

In the normal order of criminal trials, there is nothing about the trial and evidence released to the defense team that needs to be aired in public, nothing...it is not crucial to trump's campaign to whine and cry about the rhetoric and spins he wants to lie about to his Magadonian base of followers.

Totally true. Also Trump doesn't understand that he can't intimidate whitnesses. Also, all the trying the case in public is not going anywhere exect popularity. The jury are the only people who matter.
