When I was in high school, we studied the reform movement in the late 1800's. Both recall and refrendments were passed in many state legislatures. This didn't happen in all states. For example George Santos was not a recall target because NY doesn't have recall.
Ohio had a v**e yesterday to change refrendments from a majority of v**es to getting 60%. This would have taken power away from citizens and given it to legislatures. This was against the spirit of the refrendement law. It may have been a win for the pro choice movement, but what I see is the future. Refrendments put a brake in legislatures that pass unpopular laws. We needed this to pass for ourselves to be in control. I hope this v**e will incourage legislaturse to represent, not rule.

The Ohio special e******n again showed major v****g irregularities, most of the machines in Republican districts were not operable and the v**e count could not be accurately verified. What else could go wrong again. I think this was a trial run for the demorats to pull another e******n s***l in 2024. The cry has gone out from Bridget Gabriel to get rid of those lousy machines and go to paper b****ts once and for all. I totally agree and I am certain you would too.

Apparently Chinese computers don’t have spell check.

You can't help but get the spelling part. Referendums and encourage really aren't that difficult. Legislatures looks like a typo.

I was surprised by that first line "When I was in high school". Judging by her previous posts I thought she had dropped out of school in 4th grade.
