Most people have never even heard of Purple Heart Day, and sadly, too many people could not care less about the sacrifices of those that it honors.

Yet quite natural for a proud and true Patriotic American.

Jim As I have stated here on this forum I do not approve of everything that my party has done. I am a Proud American Vet and have great respect for ALL My Brothers and Sisters in Arms who were wounded in line of duty. I never served in a unit under fire but a support unit (AF Med.Corps 74-80). We have different opinions but we all have served with honor. My wife lost her brother in 1969 when she was 13 and he was 19 he was medic attached to the Marines. We have gone to visit him every Memorial and Veterans Day since I first moved to PA in 2018. I also have been to the Wall When we went to DC and I have family and friends on that Wall too. When I lived in Pensacola I would visit the WallSouth. I have also been a Legionnaire since 1981. May I ask what unit are your Arms from in your header? They look familiar.
