You are making the best argument for federal term limits and for the repeal of the 17th Amendment. It was Sir Winston Churchill who once said, "The best argument against democracy is to hold a five minute conversation with the average v**er." Between the political indoctrination in education and the liberal compliant media, the average v**er has shown they are incapable of making a rational decision at the polls. Our political enemies have proven to be very patient in their treachery towards the country we hold dear.
This is so true just watching some of the exchanges between some of the interviews with youth and general people on the street and you have to wonder how we made it as a nation this far. Also the Republican Party must be the laughing stock of Washington D.C., How many times have we signed bills where the spending cuts were to follow and they never do. I believe we are still waiting for spending cuts from when Reagan was President. And you want us to believe that you will fix the border after we v**e in the Amnesty bill. The general public doesn't
get it and and those Rhinos in Washington don't get it either. If this is v**ed in it will only further hasten the destruction of our country. Maybe this is Obummers way of becoming a legal citizen.

Thanks! I'm sure if I had one more cup of coffee this morning I would have realized that. :)

"Today's democrats are vile, rude, crude people who are foaming at the mouth to dictate every aspect of our lives, and I call them "controllers", collectivists." For example, in a word: Poco. :D

Concur, it was very well put. and for "poco"= little, small, and in this case insignificant Eh?

No napping for Aunti. She was obtaining birthday presents for her progeny as well as a Father's Day present for the progeny's Dad.

Come Saturday, I will have to fix lasagna, garlic bread and salad with mixed lettuce and six other veggies. On Sunday, I will sojourn in the kitchen making Swiss steak, mashed potatoes, creamed squash and green beans with country ham seasoning. NO ONE had to do any such thing for me in May. I always get my Mother's Day wish. Leave me the perdition alone!!! It may seem insensitive; however, makes everyone's life much easier.

I will lend you my dunce cap. It is a lovely pale lavender. I was required to use it twice in the same day last week. 8-)

Oops, my bad, N**i. I actually do know how to spell "new" as well as "knew" - and I actually know the difference in the two, but some people's brains work so darned fast that the fingers don't get the signal slowly enough to be able to function properly, and, hence mistakes occur. But I certainly don't want to chop off the offending finger in this case!

My mistakes last week were for the exact reason you speak of. I was in such a hurry to accomplish the post I failed to reread what I had written. Do you think I could blame it on my iPad stylus instead of myself? :?:

Quid Pro Quo, AuntiE: We keep telling you to get yourself a real computer and expand your abilities, which seem to be constrained by your I-pad.

I have one hell of a time using the stylus on my tablet when I'm in a moving vehicle, usually just stick to reading and wait till I stop before I try to send something other than icon inserts...

You, too?

Once I sent a message to my youngest son's computer with a funny quip and asked, "Do you know who this is?"

Without missing a beat, he said, "Dad, it's you!"

"How did you know it was me?" I asked.

"It's because you're the only person I know that uses proper English and correct spelling on the Internet."

I suppose that makes me antiquated. :)

Just maybe she uses the I-Pad as a status symbol because they are so much more expensive than a basic computer?
