There are a few things worth noting here, the first being that this is another case where federal jurisdictions as well as DOJ matters such as pardons are irrelevant to trump or the process of federal pardons. Trump sees a path to either becoming president and making prosecutions go away, or being pardoned by sufficiently loyal republicans.

Also the case is about other players or co conspirators in a plot to overturn the e******n, putting the case together for others goes with cinching a case against trump.

At one time I lived in Georgia. Fulton County, (holding much of Atlanta) is mostly Democrat. There have been prosecutions for e******n f***d there time after time after time, almost every one of them a Democrat, and in a number of cases, people convicted of or fired for fraud have been rehired before the next e******n cycle.
You will not see a Democrap witch hunted in the Atlanta area.

There is something else worth noting here, that I mentioned on another thread. Fani Willis, the Democrat Fulton County DA has NO AUTHORITY to bring any charges. They are the purview of the State Attorney General's Office. According to GA law, (OCGA a35-2-122(a)) a county DA must have a delegation of authority directive from the State AG Office to pursue this matter. If there is such a document, it is being hidden more thoroughly than the keys to Fort Knox. Repeated requests for such a document to be produced have resulted in nothing. Perhaps the Fulton County DA's Office is anticipating such a directive, but as of now, it appears to have not been issued. There is contention whether she even had the authority to begin these proceedings without one.
