permafrost Loc: Minnesota

Yesterday 26th,,,, Was quite busy and crowded.. Among the pressing events was helping my little girl, amidst her enterprises of producing food etc, she has goats, makes soap, face cream and even sells milk from them.. now she has always seemed to think better was more important that quantity..So got a couple of super goats... from California. how to get them to Minnesota? heck, ship em to dads' house to stay for a few days.. LOL.

So last night about 6,7 PM,, they showed up.. A lady brought to us and we put them in an existing pen. Asked the lady if she drove them from California.... yes, she said but had other stops along the way.. Started in OHIO, drop offs and pickups in ND, Washington, Oregon , California and then to us.. her rig was a remodeled camper? rig with a bunk in the front and the rest gutted for small animals and with food water and an Air Conditioner..

Said she had been on the road since July 3rd.. she retired and just had to have something to do . her hubby had not yet retired so travel seem fun and she had done a little of before.. now he is retired , does not want to travel with her hauling animals, but called and said she better come home, the sink was full of dirty dishes.. she chuckled when she said that so figured it was a joke.. so she left,, a stop in Iowa and then home to Ohio.. with luck she figured home for the week end.. Hope she makes it..

Shows what some people can find fun in doing.. Gabby lady, she and my wife babbled about everything about animals and gardens.. so we restocked her rig with animal feed and water and down the road she headed... via Iowa..
