"Behold, they are all vanity; their works are nothing: their molten images are wind and confusion". Isaiah 44:19. "...shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?". Jeremiah 10:8. "...the stock is a doctrine of vanities". Rome is said to be a city set on seven hills. Revelation 17:9. "And here is the mind which hath wisdom. God has alot of adopted sons. Adam was God's only begotten son. He was created as the antithesis of God. Exactly the same, yet totally opposite. Eden means "pleasure" and God gave Adam two commandments regarding sex, one positive, and one negative. The positive command was to be fruitful and multiply, the negative command was no sodomy. All males inherit original sin and it is part of the reason for circumcision. There are three reasons why bad things happen to good people. 1) People are sinners and we've all been the victim of somebody's sin. 2) If you're a righteous person and you do something you shouldn't, God will get you. 3) The wicked and the righteous h**e each other. Genesis 3:15. The wicked do wicked things to the righteous because they h**e them.
