The border could be secure if we had the courage to do what all other countries on the planet do. Take a stand. Recent news showed what happens if you cross the border into N. Korea and or Iran. Even the President of Mexico made a claim that he would NOT tolerate someone breaking into his country!
I think we are approaching the problem from the wrong angle. I say we make a deal with Mexico. For every illegal we catch in this country we take away foreign aid from you. If you don't stop them from coming here you get zero money from us.
One final point. They are breaking the damn law. They are illegal. They are NOT undocumented. Stop the lies. If I break into your home you are NOT going to call me an undocumented burglar.
