From Quora....

If this economical disaster was happening under Trump, the leftest hypocrites would be demanding his resignation. Prices have doubled and tripled under Biden. Why does the left continue to deny Biden's disaster?

No dear prices have not doubled and tripled. Hyperbole doesn’t make your argument. Highest inflation we have seen was 9%. That meant something which cost a dollar would sell for $1.09. Currently it is 3%. We had inflation, no kidding the US had some of the lowest inflation most of the rest of the world had higher inflation. It was caused by a combination of C***d being over and the economy opening up with pent up demand and the 25% cut in oil output that Trump negotiated with opec. Reduced supply means increased prices world wide. Basic capitalism 101.

This isn’t Biden’s disaster, look at who caused the oil shortage and who mishandled the C***D p******c, it wasn’t Biden.

Sadly, Corn Pop, you are a habitual liar and completely dishonest.

Provide links/data/proof of your claims. Then I will proceed to B-slap you into reality.

We need to cut the use of f****l f**ls as much as possible, as soon as we can.. it is not the length of time trump spent with c***d, it is the things he said he did and the things he did not do that caused so many deaths and economic set backs..

November of 2020, gas was less than $2/gallon where I live. By the end of January, it was almost $3/gallon. Last time I looked that's 50%. It finally stopped around $3.90.gallon, basically a 100% increase. The propane I heat my house with is a little over 30% higher now. I have dogs and their food is a little over 50% higher. My electric bill is higher. Beef prices are up by 20-30%. What I would like to know is what is cheaper to mitigate the inflation rate down to 9%? How can it be less than 10% when staples are all up in double digits?
I know! Trump planned it this way, he set booby traps just in case Biden won, never dreaming we would see through his scheme and realize that everything that happened since Biden took office was really all Trump's fault. I mean, Biden stopping all drilling and exploration on Federal land and offshore leases, causing the investors who fund this stuff to take a huge loss had NOTHING to do with the price of oil going through the roof.
What a stroke of genius for Biden to artificially lower the price of oil by depleting our Strategic Petroleum Reserves more in one year than Presidents Carter, Reagan, Bush Sr, Clinton, Bush Jr, Obama and Trump COMBINED managed to do in FORTY-THREE years. Just because it will take the oil industry years to recover from Biden's monkey wrenching is no reason to blame him for the price of oil, or the inflation which by the way averaged about 1.5% during the Trump Administration. Biden's is, after all, now only twice as high as Trump's.

Oh, and the way that Trump "mishandled" C***d. Let's see, there were fewer deaths under Trump without the v*****e which was developed in his administration, than there was in the first year of Biden's Administration WITH the v*****e he had nothing to do with developing; so if Trump "mishandled" the situation, WTF would you call what your boy Biden did?

No dear, I won't go through the actual numbers for you, since it has been done several times, and you continue to ignore it. The inflation rate is NOT NOT NOT up 9%, or 8% or 7% since Biden took office. It is up 6-9 % MOST months, and at least a little EVERY month, for the 30 or so Biden has been President. Start out with an item that was $10 in December of 2020. If inflation is up only 3% on that item each month for 10 months, it now costs $13.44. Now, think what you get if the same process continues for 30 months, at a varying inflation rate of from 5% all the way up to 9%.
The bottom line is that the overall cost of living IS up between double and triple, though individual items will vary greatly. My household weekly budget has doubled in the last 30 months, from $150/week for food and gasoline, to $300/week, and we are having to be much more careful with what we buy. No amount of your rationalization can change that fact.
Learn to apply a little math and common sense.
On another note, some of the bottled water, flavored and non-flavored, has been missing from our grocery store shelves. Yesterday a note appeared that said "Due to shortages of aluminum, plastic, and paper, some items are in short supply, and can not be restocked at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience." Bad news for me, but good for you.....it gives you something else to try and figure a way to blame on Trump. It will no doubt be much like your nonsense about Trump and the Saudis and the price of oil. That has been debunked many times, and the reasons for doing it were entirely valid. That temporary policy had nothing to do with inflation, it merely kept the price of oil from DEflating to less than the cost to produce. Oil and gasoline prices stayed fairly stable until President Biden picked up his first EO pen. Another FACT that you can no rationalize away.
