When Jesus commissioned His disciples to go forth and proclaim the kingdom of God, he bestowed upon them the Holy Spirit which gave them the power to heal the sick, the crippled and cast out demons.
So, if the Spirit of God is fully "indwelt" as you claim, wouldn't you have the power to heal the sick, the crippled, and cast out demons?
One of the ministries in which the Holy Spirit has in the life of the believer is known as the βindwelling.β From Scripture, we learn a number of important things about this ministry.
The Holy Spirit indwells the believer the moment that a person trusts Jesus Christ as their Savior. Indeed, a person cannot be a Christian without the Holy Spirit indwelling them. The Bible makes this clear.
Thus, all believers in Jesus Christ are indwelt by the Spirit of God. Indeed, there is no such thing as a Christian without the Holy Spirit.
Furthermore, the Lord has promised that the Spirit of God will dwell forever with believers. He will never leave those whom He indwells. He is forever with us.
Thus, this ministry of the Holy Spirit secures the relationship of the believer with the Lord. We can have confidence that God will be with us always through His Spirit who dwell inside of us.
While the Bible says this is what takes places, we cannot fully comprehend how this can be so. We believe these truths by faith.
There are actually three biblical lists of the βgifts of the Spirit,β also known as spiritual gifts. The three main passages describing the spiritual gifts are Romans 12:6β8; 1 Corinthians 12:4β11; and 1 Corinthians 12:28. We could also include Ephesians 4:11, but that is a list of offices within the church, not spiritual gifts, per se. The spiritual gifts identified in Romans 12:6-8 are:
β’ Prophesying
β’ Serving
β’ Teaching
β’ Encouraging
β’ Giving
β’ Leadership
β’ Mercy
The list in 1 Corinthians 12:4β11 includes:
β’ The word of wisdom
β’ The word of knowledge
β’ Faith
β’ Healing
β’ Miraculous powers
β’ Prophecy
β’ Distinguishing between spirits
β’ Speaking in tongues
β’ Interpretation of tongues
The list in 1 Corinthians 12:28 includes:
β’ Healings
β’ Helps
β’ Governments
β’ Diversities of tongues
I have exhibited many of these gifts though not all but am fully confident that any and all of them could be used in me if the need arose.

I think it is wrong to claim the Holy Spirit indwells in you then assume some kind of superiority over others by which you pass judgement. One virtue Jesus emphasized in His teachings is humility.
I was not assuming any type of superiority or passing judgment on anyone. I was merely pointing out β backed up by Scripture β that that a person that is not indwelt by the Holy cannot discern things of the Spirit such as the Holy Bible and to that person it is foolishness.
