How About If The Federal Government As In FEMA Gives Texas The Finger?

Texas easily has the most screwed up electrical grid system in the entire country, nobody comes close...that is because nearly every other state comes under federal guidelines and is part of a federal or multi state grid network that shares loads when disasters or peak load conditions hit in the summer or winter.
Texas, wanting nothing to do with the feds telling them what to do or how to regulate rates to customers managed to come up with a hybrid Enron system on steroids. When extreme peaks hit their customers can be hit with bills of thousands and sometimes tens of thousands of dollars, which is what happened when they got hit with catastrophic cold.
So then, Texas comes running to FEMA for a bailout of billions in excessive rates they were trying to charge customers, relief being for people not the companies profiting by billions of dollars that never would have happened had they been regulated to federal energy standards in the first place.

The dirty little secret about Texas's shaky grid it it is being bailed out currently by wind and solar. I thought after the big freeze they would have done something but you can't reason with Republicans sometimes.
