Did you watch Biden on C-SPAN.ORG this morning. I think he said he plans to spend 43 billion taxpayer dollars to run fiber optics everywhere it isn't, hire high paid union workers to install it and pay the people $30 a month on their bills. The internet companies are popping their Champaign bottles because the taxpayers are providing a huge boost to their profits while having to pay for their own. Aren't they those awful rich corporations the left complains about? Maybe they'll suffer a big hangover when the left raises their taxes 50% or so. Welcome to Democratic Socialist Marxism folks.

The Communication satellites and airwaves are owned by the people of the United States. They Lease these airwaves to the Communications Companies .

Get your lease and start up a comm company . Free phones maybe they’re cheap , made in China by 13 year old girls., they’re already doing that as perks to get you on their lines . I doubt many are losing money .

No! What makes you think so? I live in a rural area of a "flyover state" and I think that the fiber optics for rural areas was the BEST part of the whole Infrastructure Bill!

Bonita, it will take a bill to be introduced in the House of Representatives and ratified by the Senate to fund this. F. Joe Biden can’t do this on his own. The latest Supreme Court decision ruled that Biden cannot just spend taxpayer money on any project he wants to.
