I Wonder How The Right Would Feel About Taking 70,000 Political Refugees From North Korea

To me this is the kind of thing that the civilized world in terms of advanced nations and democracies should have a problem with, North Korea is said to have 70,000 political prisoners based on their chrisian and other religious beliefs.

Recently it came to our attention that an entire family was politically imprisoned because a bible was found in their home.

This is where immigration hard liners get to give some thought to people who are being persecuted politically, would you have a different attitude about taking these unfortunate people in because they are being persecuted simply because of their christian religious beliefs?

As usual, you seem to be oblivious to what it is all about and just trolling to generate h**e. Trolling.

If they came trough legal channels, no problem. Unfortunately you are again using those unfortunate people to make a point you fail to make. If they managed to get away illegally, that would put them in China. The Chinese are not supportive of these people and have a reputation of using them, enslaving them, and making it hard for them. Still better then North Korea. Their next destination of choice would be South Korea. Their people and language. There they have a chance to thrive. And of those that really did well and managed to get to America, they say that the America you seem to push for, is like turning America into North Korea. And your trolling blinds you to the t***h. And those are facts.

Under our current laws and treaty obligations ANYONE who arrives at our border and requests political asylum is entitled to due proses and refuge. Like it or not this is a legal channel.

International law says they must apply at the first country they come to.

Funny you should say that, because the whole border/immigration issue is about exactly that, allowing immigrants a legal path to being here legally. Trump closed the legal pathways
