The one thing we can trust about America and its military bases is that they won't be used for war...
Totally precautionary...

How many of those military bases were a result of WWII & Korea. We helped China in WWII huh? We sent 50,000 marines to China during WWII.

Kyle, have you turned Chinese, anti-American Chinese? You want to guarantee world wide chaos then draw Ameruca back to her own shores. Every free nation sleeps secure under America's nuclear umbrella but that's the final solution isn't it? What about regional concerns? Who in Europe can defeat Russia without American military? WWI & WWII both required American help and the only land we ask for was to bury our honored dead. One of the reasons were not liked is because we've done so much good for nations around the world and they resent us. People are peculiar about things like that. America is the first to respond to tragedies and much of that needed support is stored on our military bases.

Since the 70s the US certainly hasn't done much to stabilize the world...
Did you bring peace and security to the ME?? Northern Africa??? Southeast Asia???
Central America??? South America???
How about Europe when NATO was bombing Serbia??? Or the Maidan c**p in the Ukraine???

American aid comes with strings attached... And fewer and fewer nations are interested in playing that game...

America leaving the world to govern itself sounds good to me...
