Durham Was Another Garland Optics Failure To Simply End His Investigation As He Should Have
Durham had had more than enough time to find smoking guns under trump's AG Barr. It would have been 100% appropriate for Garland to tell him he had a month to submit a report, and if he had nothing of substance he was working on, he was done. Investigations take only a few months to know what you have and whether it is worth pursuing.
Garland was too worried about the optics of how him pulling the plug would look...he cut Durham way more slack than he deserved, and he still came up with with my Uncle Richard.
