I pray they are able to rescue these people. Can't imagine being so helpless and not being able to do something to help yourself. The families must be scared to death.

Just read they have enough oxygen until 5 or 6 am Tomorrow (Thursday), and they’ve searched an area the size of Connecticut. Some experts have said they don’t think a rescue is possible. The CEO of the company (Ocean Gate) is on it along with a couple of tourists and a Scottish explorer.

I find it amazing that the people on board can only bang on something to communicate with today’s technology!

They must have had a catastrophic failure to not be able to communicate

Even if they do locate them in time the problem is getting it to the surface in time. I hope they can but its looking bleak

For some reason they waited 8 hours to report it missing. The Coast Guard and other rescue operations were not authorized to begin searching for it until after it was “officially” determined that it was missing and needed help!!

That’s going to be a big issue since they lost communication with it only an hour and a half into the trip…

They probably have their own procedures they follow if communication is lost

I saw that the banging sound could be coming from the Titanic wreckage or something else.

They are supposed to have 7 ways to get to the surface, including dropping sand bags, inflating balloons, and one that is supposed to work even if the passengers are all passed out…the “legs” of the sub have some way to jettison the sub towards the surface.

I also read they could be floating on the surface of the ocean and haven’t been seen yet..but they need external help to get out of the sub -something like 18 bolts need to be removed for them to be able to get out…

The CEO of the company (OceanGate), a French explorer who is an expert on the Titanic, a Scottish explorer a Pakistani businessman and his 19 year old son are on it.

They need prayers…

Yes they do. I’ll be surprised if they make it out of this.
