I find it odd that I can get Chevron rewards and get $1.00 off a gallon like I am being given a favor. What huge profits Chevron must be making if they will do this. I know the execs don't want a smaller bonus .

I’m kind of baffled to that companies want to make money
They don’t like putting billions of dollars into a pipeline and then getting it shut down
They tried the same thing with a natural gas pipeline here in Coos Bay . Worked on it for over 20 years fighting legal battles and working without required permits . They were so sure they would have their own way. . Around 10,000 people would have been in the blast zone . No other commerce could take place on the bay when the liquid natural gas ships were in. Mill and chip facilities shut down-- no tug boats going over the bar no other ships coming in to port for fear of stray electricity causing a blast .
