There's A Difference Between Unreasoning Fear And Reasons To Be Afraid

Unreasoning fear is where uncontrolled emotional reactions come from, fear that hits primal reactions of fight or flight.

Being afraid of something, but not freaked out afraid to where reactions are unreasoned is a different thing.

Here's a good example, the things we h**e such as snakes or spiders, it's always blown me away how freaked out to the point of terror some really tough guys can get over things we don't like because yes they are dangerous, but they don't present a threat if dealt with carefully.

Snakes, I get it that some people are freaked out by snakes...any kind of snake including the ones that are good because they will eat dozens if not hundreds of rats and mice around our houses. The guys that seem to think that they need to k**l any snake including non dangerous ones live in that zone of unreasoning fear or hatred, revulsion, wh**ever you want to call it.

We had a lot of rattlesnakes on our property, typically we have seen close to twenty a year. I have really good snake catching tools and try to catch them and relocate them. I have told my wife that when they are going to be dangerous to catch they get shot because I'm not going to put myself at risk trying to save every snake.

My neighbors around me typically k**l rattlesnakes but like the King and Gopher snakes, we went a few years seeing far fewer rattlesnakes, and now we're seeing quite a few more Gopher snakes which tells us that there aren't many rattlesnakes around. Both the King and Gopher snakes will eat the smaller rattlesnakes which we used to see a lot of every year

Ne and my husband and dog were thtee days in on the Appalachian trail in Georgia and we came across a huge timber rattler. It was six feet long. Lucky enough it just laid across the trail and my husband grabed the dog before the dog got close.
I really wasn't that frightened. This snake pribably thought he owned the forest.

The snake was probably afraid of what would happen to him if he bit you.

Ten years or so ago my wife and I were mountain bike riding on a dirt road alongside the American River by Auburn, we saw three younger guys grouped around something, when we got closer we saw they were looking at easily the biggest rattlesnake we have ever seen out in the wild. One was saying get a stick, k**l it. As a guy came up with a four or five foot stick, he said move so I can k**l it, and I told him he wasn't going to k**l it, he said yes I am...at which point I told him to give me that stick, he was not prepared for that and he handed me the stick, and I used it to head the snake into blackberry brambles where they couldn't get to it.

Those timber rattlers get quite a bit bigger than the diamondbacks we have here, although I've seen them out to six or seven feet and really fat.

That's the common belief by Magamoronians that wouldn't have any way of knowing, which makes them uselessly wrong, but what's new?

Not sure what the point of this is, but I k**l every rattlesnake I find on my property. All others are welcome. I'm not afraid of them, although I've been pants crapping startled by them more times than I can remember.

This can be applied to anything. Dog breeds are a prime example. Some people are terrified by certain breeds, or mixes of dogs. I know several myself. Pit Bulls seem to be number one.
I don't know why. Chihuahuas are worse.

And thus the irrational basis for the left's hatred of Trump.
